This page features the roster for the field and staff. Click the above buttons for company rosters.
The information in the rosters came from many sources. Most of it came from: Roster Commission. Official Roster of the Soldiers of the State of Ohio in the War of Rebellion, 1861-1866, Vol VII. Cincinnati: The Ohio Valley Press, 1888. Joseph B. Foraker, late of Company A, was the governor of Ohio when this volume was published. Other sources included: Ohio Graves Registration (Ohio Historical Center), Ohio Death Certificate Index (Ohio Historical Center), County Probate Court Records, Pension Records/Letters, Newspapers, Cemetery Records, and Cemetery Visits. If a field is empty, there was no information available. Age is at the time of mustering; for almost all the soldiers, this was August 1862.
